Founded in 2013, Sophie Green Interior Architecture (SGIA) is a young interior architecture practice with an international profile.
Alone or in collaboration, SGIA has managed several projects of various scales, in both the private and the public sector.
SGIA provides sustainable and environmentally responsible interior architecture without compromising on aesthetics. Green architecture can and should be a thing of beauty. We make conscious choices throughout the construction and engineering stages up to the materials and final finishes chosen.
We specialise in turning space into a communication tool, developing interiors that are finely tuned to our clients' corporate identity.
SGIA works with a flexible and highly qualified team of engineers, architects and designers, chosen to reflect your specific project requirements. Our team members know each other well and know how to deliver for each and every client.
Sophie Green Interior Architecture
Unique, sustainable interior architecture: professional, complete and individual design consultation and support.
Healthy spaces for people to live, work and simply be.
Individual solutions for individual requirements.
SGIA believes in providing sustainable interior architecture – making conscious choices from the construction and engineering stage through to the materials and final finishes chosen.
Thanks to our wealth of technical expertise and constant research, we help you to cut your energy and resource use, capitalise on renewable energy systems, and remove toxins from your environment while creating beautiful, efficient, healthy spaces to live and work in, without compromising on aesthetics.
Our methods include the selection of materials which are local, durable, recycled, re-purposed, energy efficient and low emission, as well as working with eco-construction businesses and energy consultants.
We provide eco design insight and suggestions beginning at the design stage in order to create energy efficient buildings, maximising on passive design principles and renewable energy systems.
We are familiar with the details of the German sustainability standards (DGNB) as well as the British sustainability standards (BREEAM) and comply with them whenever and wherever possible.
